Electric Lighting
The “Roaring Twenties” ushered in the ‘Golden Age of Lighting’. With the expansion of electricity and the general prosperity of the times came a demand for better lighting and attractive, high quality electric lighting fixtures. The nation had a love affair with style!

Many regions did not have electricity until the late 1930’s. Consequently, manufactures would produce some product lines that could be adapted to either kerosene of electricity. Early electric lighting fixtures often maintained fonts and other features reminiscent of oil lamps to ease the transition in the public’s mind from kerosene lighting to electric.

There has been a tendency to classify all electric lighting from this era as “Deco”. In reality, there are many distinct styles ~Early American, Country, Victorian, Art Deco, Moderne, English Tudor, Oriental, Moorish/Spanish. The high style, craftsmanship and ambience of these gracious lighting devices have never been equaled.
Electric lighting offered by Angelheart has been meticulously restored, repaired and professionally re-wired, ready to be installed and enjoyed in your personal setting.
